Actually men at worst don’t care and at best are mildly supportive of the elevated economic status of women. The only problem is that women do care since they won’t date down to lower-earning men. So the more they earn the smaller their dating pool and the more likely their child-bearing years will expire without reproducing.

Sorry but this is a total deflection. It identifies the correct problem but completely misses the mark is identifying the root causes.

“What’s the matter with men?”

Men self-delete more than women, but no one cares. Apparently it’s only because we’re so jealous women have surpassed us in quality of life for the below reasons.

Men die at work more than women, but no one cares.

Men don’t live as long as women do even if they aren’t sooisidal and are healthy, but no one cares.

Most homeless people are men, but no one cares.

All American men are required by law to join Selective Service, but women aren’t. No one cares about this sexist law.

Men are considered patriarchical just for existing.

Answering a woman’s question or showing her how to do a work-related task is “mansplaining.”

Men are “privileged” even though they make less (controlling for college major) and are less educated than women.

One reason why men are less educated than women is because men get lower grades for schoolwork of a similar quality, but obviously no one cares about that because men also get less attention and help at school.

Even when a man has educated himself, he is less likely to be hired for a job than a woman, especially if he’s Asian, South Asian, or white.

Autistic men are considered creepy.

Facially-unattractive men are considered creepy.

Ethnic men are considered creepy.

Short men are considered creepy.

A woman can have any or all of the four above qualities and have thousands of men lined up ready to take her out; meanwhile, just being Asian and male eliminates 90% of women from your potential dating pool. But no, that’s not racist at all, it’s just a “preference.”

63% of young American men are single, but it’s all our fault apparently.

1/3 of young American men are inkwells. And that stat was from 5 years ago, so imagine what the amount is after covid.

With all of that male privilege, what else can some of us do but lie down and rot in our luxury? I truly cannot blame any of my brothers for NEETing.

Still they refuse to listen to men who know that the only thing really required is 1. Stay on the right side of the law 2. Cover the basic costs of life. Relationships are optional

From there, make your own freedom as far as you can. If you want more or different things, go for it, but there's no requirements. You don't have to embody "masculine role" jack shit. If you do want to, be very cautious and mindful about doing it for you, because it very easily becomes a backdoor for others to exploit you.

So no actually, I don't think the left should contend with their own "roadmap to be a man". That's an invitation to be their political grunt, and whether it also benefits you is less than an afterthought.

I would instead encourage young men to drop gender identity down a few orders of priority, and lift their heads above it. There's nothing quite as funny as when someone tries to control you by attempts at emasculating you, while you just don't feel a thing and laugh in their faces. You'll have to face enough actual discriminatition due to your born sex anyway. You don't need the stress of the psychological war games on top of it, because this we should coldly analyze and attack with feelings in check.

Define yourself more by ideals, family line, national origins, interests etc. and let others fetishize gender. You're then more autonomous and well protected against those who demand or coax you to "man up" (submit to them).

Also, acknowledge your biology, but be very careful about thinking with your dick.
