Been reading Principles by Ray Dalio. It's an excellent book, highly recommend.

In it is stressed the importance of pain and failure as vehicles for growth. Growth which comes through accurate diagnosis of root causes and brutal self honesty.

It's more complicated with dates though - as she is the one to judge you and can be turned off by any number of things.

I was wondering whether asking a girl who turned down a second date for the feedback as to why could be helpful. Framing it in a 'seriously be as brutal as you want I'm interested in improving myself' or something and being generally light-hearted about it.

Has anyone here done this before and what were results?
