1) If you're meeting her in person without using an app as an intermediary, slouch like Clark Kent does (if possible). Undersell your height if you reasonably can.

2) When you are prequalifying each other for a date, tell her you're in between jobs or undersell your wages at your current job.

3) Think of the least qualifying emotional moment in life - not the death of a parent but maybe losing a job you liked or some minor tear jerker - and hint at how traumatic it was. Speak about it only when it is appropriate.

4) Make sure you two split the bill.
