Hello. I'm new to this subreddit and would like share what I find is probably the most aggravating and incoherent thing about the red pill community and the overall manoshpere. For the record, I've never been part of the manosphere or anything like that. It's just that I've been made more aware of it through social media and such, and am very concerned about the ideas they spread to impressionable people.

Anyway, something I've observed about the manosphere is that on its face, it seems to advocate for what is essentially a very radical Judeo-Christian understanding of gender roles where women are completely chaste before marriage. At the same time though, I've seen/heard many complain about how tough it is for guys to lose their virginity. It's incoherent though, seeing as it implies that they think women are being overly promiscuous, but are also being overly selective. At best, my guess is that they're severely jealous or something like that, and at worst, they likely desire a society where all guys are at least give one government-mandated wife.

As a side note (but still slightly related), it's also interesting how people in the manosphere believe being a player is an essential part of manhood, how do they expect to find a traditional wife, especially if she's a traditional Christian? Sure, she'll probably want a well-respected guy, but I can't picture them going for a guy who isn't also committed to premarital virginity.
