So I’m in a small thread on twitter and one of someone’s responses was trying to make a claim saying that men make most of the false accusations.

I do think there are men who do make them for sure, but saying that they’re majority of false accusers is just devoid of common sense (please correct me if wrong)

I linked this survey right here (8% Americans falsely accused, ranging from many crimes- 62% cases being female false accusers)

But because it’s surveyed, there is some plausible deniability to claim those who report in the survey are lying.

  • My question is, does anyone know where they can reference that shows who make up the majority of false accusers? Maybe legal records, etc?
