I hate this term and the negative stigma around it. Like having men in anything is somehow bad, that men is mainly male workforces aren't allowing women in and it takes an all-women team to somehow makes thing better. We often see and hear things about "male-dominated fields and spaces" and how difficult it is for women to get in and you've got misandrists who aren't afraid to show their bigotry when they say things like "I long for the day there's no longer male-dominated fields." Just imagine the uproar there'd be over a man saying he's longing for there to no longer be female-dominated fields. A lot of these misandrists fail to realize certain jobs and fields only have mostly men simply because more men have applied for their positions and more men tend to take the initiative, which is why more tend to be in leadership positions. Nothing's keeping women from entering these fields and succeeding, but misandrists as usual always want to play into the harmful narrative that men are always keeping women from succeeding. It's such a horribly ignorant and divisive way of thinking that accomplishes nothing other than another pointless gender war, which is no doubt what misandrists intend for, anyway.

Why not just call a mostly male field or workforce or such just that, mostly male? Maybe predominantly male? Primarily male? Something that doesn't carry such a negative or sinister stigma to it which is what "male domination" has. It has such a negative stink to it and I'm sure many here feel exactly the same and know where I'm coming from.

Plus, I don't truly believe "male domination" is a thing as misandrists define it and don't think we live in a male-dominated world or society. Men and women both occupy the world, both are in positions of power and both have their share of challenges and struggles. But misandrists always look for any means of enforcing their bigoted rhetoric of men as brutes and oppressors, which is what this "male domination" rhetoric boils down to, really.
