I see some arguments online that suggest guys in the 5’8-5’9” height range should be able to do ok because after all 50% of women are 5’ 4” or below which means you’d be taller than them in heels.

Or even if a guy is 5’ 5” or 5’ 6” he’ll be told to target 5’0” woman.

I actually spent a lot of my life around short woman who I would be taller than when they wore heels. I was with friends with many and got to observe many things about them.

This idea that they are more accepting of short or average height men is simply false and I honestly feel the opposite is true. Short woman are obsessed with height and actively thirst after guys who are 6ft+. Sometimes their justification is they need to feel protected by a tall man, sometimes there simply is no justification. These women treat tall men significantly better. If you are average height they aren’t ashamed to be around with or talk to you but it has no relevance to attraction.

Some of you may bring up the counterpoint about SEA woman, but the reason they accept shorter men is because the average height of men in that environment is short. Asian women born here in the US do not have similar relaxed standards at all in my experience (yes incels do go after non-white women)

I go outside and I see a lot of tall men with short girlfriends so evidently they do succeed in securing Chad if the girl is decent looking. Many more get pumped and dumped by the players.

The short man / average height man does not have an easy solution. The popular idea that a short woman will crave for him or accept him does not seem to track with reality in my experience.
