On a language learning app of all places. I told her why I hated feminism and she started spouting off textbook feminist talking points about patriarchy, how statistics are wrong, how feminism actually helps men and how the patriarchy is the reason men are suffering (somehow). When I brought up how men had to die in wars she said that it was because “killing and violence are masculine”. She even pulled the “it’s men who are killing other men” retort when I brought up the higher likelihood of getting murdered for men.

This chick was from Argentina! Can’t believe this cancer spread all the way there. I told her that she’d been brainwashed and she said that she hadn’t because she read all of this in books (because if it’s in a book it must be true I guess), and she was taught it in school.

Honestly I think the only reason she didn’t attack me was because she was attracted to me. She tried to flirt with me and I wasn’t biting and she tried to pressure me into flirting back (she couldn’t fathom me not wanting to). I was shit talking feminism quite a bit, so it kind of showed how these women will throw their beliefs out the window when there’s a guy they like.

Also, she said that she would hit me in the face if called her a slut (don’t ask for context, it’s not important), but when I asked if I could hit her if she insulted me she said no. Hypocrite.

I feel like with one conversation I was able to experience a lot of what we talk about on this app. It’s sad that this ideology has spread so far…
