So a couple of weeks ago my ex wife started berating me because our kid said the word hate. She started interrogating me as if I had taught him this. I told her I had no idea where it was coming from and was about to question her on it as our kid had been saying the same thing to me when he didn’t get his way.

Today, it was time for bath and bed. I told our kid to clean up their mess and we will start getting ready. Immediately a loud shriek, followed by “MY MOM HATES YOU!”

Now we know where it started. My question is, how do you guys handle this? She’s called me an asshole multiple times in front of the kid.

I don’t believe our kid actually hates me. And honestly, I just figure it’s a carry over from his mom and her boyfriend, the same guy she had an affair with.

Any ideas on how to tackle this one? Thanks guys.
