Honestly, I don’t get why there is any contention with such a request.

If there’s a council for women’s health already, it doesn’t mean that having a men’s health council will take anything from them, it’s not zero-sum, it’s additive, it should make it better overall.

I don’t get how anyone can reasonably deny this.

Anybody that still is head deep in the segregation can't conceive men's health as anything else than a macho magazine. What we call men's health is still considered basic humans' health situation from which women have to kept away from, on a better level. What they could call men's health is the health of rich men that earn more than the rich women they're married with, even though they'd easily settle with a higher earning woman.

I hope this gains traction but I am so jaded from the number of times men ask for the bare minimum of support and get shot down as misogynistic.
