I want to shoot my shot.

I’ve been hearing about a guy(m31?) for the past 10 years. Good character, ambitious, good humor, just all that I’m looking for. He is friends with two of my distant friends and is in no way near my city, hobbies or profession. So we have no commonalities but I would love to meet him once and shoot my shot.

My friends offered to set us up multiple times, I said yes but he was not interested. I sent him a LinkedIn message as I didn’t have any other socials and he accepted but ignored my thanks for connecting message. Then a couple months later my friends and I ran into him during a date. I know that the girl is still single so it didn’t last with her either.

A couple months ago I noticed that someone had stalked my LinkedIn account, after looking her up it seems like his mum made an account just to look me up. A couple days later she deleted her account but I know they have been talking about me recently. Now his best friend is engaged so he must be thinking about his own future too.

Somehow I really feel like we would match so good. But I’m hesitant to take another step, he knows where to reach me. I don’t want to chase but maybe he is shy. But it’s frustrating

What would you advice me to do?

Edit: thanks all! Maybe good to add that he is training to be a surgeon and his father has passed a couple years ago. Being the only child his mum is very important to him and career goes first. Him not being interested was mostly because of these reasons now I’m wondering if he’s ready. But I get your points thanks for the reality check🫶🏻
