Hi all, has anyone had the court bring in the rental crisis into question regarding the property division at all? The ex is claiming her business is down and losing money and She can’t afford to live. I have total pool of 800k. The home she lives in is the matrimonial home which has 520k loan. She had no assets at all before relationship they were all mine. Relationship was total 6.8 years with 3 year marriage one child age 5. I live at mums atm temporarily till this is over. Does anyone know if the rental crisis would have any effect on my case ? My barrister says I’ll get 70% of the assets due to them being all mine before relationship. If her business is down she can get a job like the rest of us . ? The child goes to day care 5 days a week.
