My LDR came to visit me in my country. Everything good so far. Three days before coming she says that she is unable to call me on facebook messenger because of problems with her phone, she can only receive calls. Since she has to come to my country she is worried that she is not gonna be able to call home. She says that it's probably a virus so she use this justification to wipe her phone, to factory reset it. This smells fishy af.

She comes here and i notice that the phone is indeed reset but she has her usual social media apps like Facebook, Instagram and whatsapp ( but when you reset the phone, the conversation on whatsapp get deleted as well )

But shortly after she receive an email from an app called 2nd line. It means she has a second number she uses to talk with someone. I confront her, she denies. We download the app, it is registered with her gmail..she doesn't know the password, we recover it and we access the app. Turn out that the app was used to register to other apps like JusCall, Talk2Talk and Teleme. No trace of calls ( i later discovered that if you delete the app, calls get deleted as well).

Now, i know that i should not be in an LDR And i can see by myself that i've been played like an idiot and that she is very likely lying to me. But before dropping the "next" atomic bomb, i need to understand the second line thing. -Why should she use a second line to speak with another guy, instead of just using whatsapp and deleting the convos? -Why should she use that second line to register to the apps mentioned before? (they are apps to call around the world for cheap)

Before throwing any accusation and look like a fool ( which in part i already am) ..i considered that probably someone just used her gmail to access the app ( It sends you a verification email but it is not mandatory in order to use the app, so basically u can put any email)
