Greetings to everybody.

Just for laughs, i create some models to test some ideas about Hypergamy.

After some modelling, I came up, with these 2 clusters (K means).

1- Most women (around 70%) choose a (1a), Men that earns the same or more than her, OR (1b) the men“s family household where he grew up, has a higher IRS echelon that the family household were she grew up.

2- Around 20 % of women, actually choose a men with less resources but, her father , has a profession, that has an income (on average), higher than the average men in her city/town/region.

Around 10 % didn“t "fit" in these "groups".

After that, i try to "fit" both "statistical distributions" (Women,s choices and average population distribution). The juxtaposition of (a)+(b)+(c), is less than 10% but it should be ove 24/25%.

Basically 90% of women have/want :

1-Partner that makes the same or more.

2-If the partner doesn“t make more money, his family has more money than her family.

3-When the partner or his family doesn“t make more money or have more resources, it“s her father that have more resources than the average men around him/her.

Basically around 90 % of the cases, there“s a male, male“s family or father with more resources than her.

Around 90% of the cases, there“s always a male figure, that guarantees financial security in her life.

Variance is really low when it considers Income. Doesn“t make difference if the women makes more money.

I denominated this Financial Oedipus.
