It is not about what you say to her, actually, you need the courage to go and tell her something.

From my point of view it sounds weird "I think you're cute......", why do you guys can not talk normally to a person? She has not even opened her mouth and you are asking for her phone number, why this hurry?

If this method works, go ahead but this opening line sounds like hell to me...

Concerts, clubs, loud places are one of my favorite places to talk to women. Great reason to get close and whisper in their ear, ask them to go somewhere else to talk, etc. To answer your question, as a general rule I almost never go up and ask for their number right away. You can say she's cute but talk to her normally for a while. About anything. Ask her questions about herself. Anything really. But asking for the number right away is a good way to end the conversation right there IMO. Even if she gives it you have nothing to talk about really. Find out things about her. If she's looking at you like that she's interested. Just be comfortable. Don't hesitate. Trust yourself to say the right things.
