I’ve stuttered my whole life. It’s a lot better now, but there was a point where I could barely say my name. My childhood was filled with ridicule which largely shaped who I am today. While I’m always trying to improve my confidence, I still occasionally stutter.

When I stutter or block meeting a girl or on a date, it can become awkward. I usually just laugh it off but I know they are confused and it dries up the puss. It’s a beta trait Im stuck with, but I’m working on it every day. So I’m not looking for advice like “go to speech therapy” (been there, 7 years), I’m more looking for advice of how to deal with it when talking to a girl. Obviously I know I should hold frame, but what’s the best way to do that when I stutter or block like a retard in front of a girl?

TLDR: I have a stutter so sometimes I stutter around girls. What’s the best way to react?
