Women on these dating apps are getting tons of these stupid, witty openings so unless yours is really fucking good and they’ve never seen it before, get in fucking line with everyone else. Your first message absolutely should be you telling her that you want to meet up somewhere. If she has a problem with that, whatever. Move on to the next.

You need to have a personality, and saying what everyone else is saying shows her immediately that you don’t have one, which will kill any interest she had initially when she saw your photos.
