This is my first post so sorry if this doesn't follow all the rules.

Some background: I'm a 23M late bloomer who decided a while ago to start cold approaching and try to take his shitty non-existent social life and try to turn it upside down. Never been in a relationship, had a gf or went on a date before.

What happened: I went out to uni campus to try and get some experience. My approach tally has been #6 so far and I wanted to get better with my approach anxiety. So I walked into the main lobby which is pretty busy with lots of students usually. I dressed in a fitting tee w jeans which showed off my upper body a bit (I workout so I've got somewhat of a Bruce Lee bod). Was too anxious to approach initially so I pretended to be on my phone talking as I mustered enough courage to approach a girl. By this time I noticed that girls were checking me out, eyeing me secretly. Got a bit of a confidence boost but not enough. Noticed a girl passing by twirling her hair and then checking if I saw her. After a while she returned to again do the same thing in front of me and I'm like holy shit i'm the real sus here while they're giving me clear hints.

Until this group of girls arrived out of knowhere and starting talking and hanging out near me, with each of them checking me out in her own sweet time. At this point I was like screaming at myself to just put the fking phone down and to approach them! It took a while for me to muster up enough confidence, till then the girls were coming near me, pretending to check their phones and then glancing at me (in hindsight I'm low-key cringeing at the ton of great opportunities that they were constantly dropping and I was missing). Finally they seemed to leave and I was like this is it cuz I lost them. Felt devastated. I moved towards the exit gate and lo and behold! who's moving there but these girls at the same time.

So I shut down my mind (in hindsight should've done this ages before), hurried over to intercept them (red flag: despo move; I shouldn't have hurried just walked casually) and then just did an opener of I finding them really cute. After a group 'thank you' I started to engage with all of them at the same time, moving my eyes from one to another, with general questions like which course you're all from, do you have exams rn, etc and they gave me a lukewarm one-word responses and frequently glanced at each other. Since I was doing the conversational heavylifting, I noticed that this isnt going anywhere so I just closed quickly and went my way. I guess I would've done a better job if I A) didnt wait for such a long-ass time and just did the approach, B) walking slowly towards them which wouldn't have given off needy vibes (cringeing rn lol) and C) engaging with them individually or MAX in a grp of 3 (NO MORE). Since I figured they all were eyeing me seperately, they didnt wanna open up quickly in a group setting and show their intentions (?).

Well, that's that. Even though it went sideways lol I'm determined to get more expereince now since it was strangely rewarding, because I pushed myself out of my comfort zone. Any advice is more than welcome!)
