idk if this is good or not but sometimes you can try to avoid the question and ask her, "hmm what's with that smirk", or if you wanna answer the question you can also say, "And what about it" and maybe add a smirk with it to. Don't know if this is good enough but hopefully it helps.

Yeah. I could see it that I'm good at not caring and just making jokes. Which gets them to say that. But then she validates me a little or gives me positive attention and my energy shifts a bit afterwards. I'm still new and coming off a 5 yr LTR. And I know abundance, but I just don't have all the experience I need. But I'm getting it.
Anyways I'm not over thinking this. I didn't screw anything up. Just a pattern I noticed. Have literally heard it 4 times almost the same way every time in the last 10ish days. I'm not worried. But there are some smart/clever dudes here so might as well ask.
