I have a small business, was at a job 3 weeks ago. She is living with her parents right now and she was at the job, her stepdad told me flat out that I need to ask her out, in front of her. So I did. We are kind of polar opposites. I'm a clean cut business owner, although i do smoke socially and drink. But she has tattoos, piercings, and has dated dudes who look the same as her.

We went out a couple times, had a decent time. She has invited me to see her family on 3 or 4 occasions, and I've had a great time with them. I seriously love her family. I play football with the kids, hold the babies, play darts with her stepdad, etc. But she doesnt always invite me. And just today I told her I was enjoying my time with her and that we should plan a date for just the two of us soon. My entire life, every girl who I have said that to is always like "That sounds great!". This girl... she just told me that we should take things slow. wtf. To be honest it's just weird to me because I am a successful business owner, have hooked up with a couple girls this year, not socially awkwkard, and im fit. She is a single mom with a bad job who lives with her parents.

So how do I build attraction now? I kind of want to reject her offer of taking things slow but dont want to look desperate. I'm just kind of puzzled because honestly, I thought she would think I'm a real catch. But maybe I dont have enough tattoos and piercings for her to think I'm a real man. Lmao.

Edit: I should also add that she is a single mom. I am really good with her daughter, we have a fun time together. I'm always picking her up and just generally goofing around with her. I don't mean to sound like I'm "better" than this girl. But...I have my shit together. And she does not. So I don't really get why she wouldn't be jumping at the oppurtunity considering our respective situations.
