Dude in texting, it’s not recommended to start conversation in such a formal manner because it’s dull.

You have to get creative with your openers, and skip formalities like “hey” “what’s up” “how is your day”

You have to get to the point, say a joke, tease her, mess with her, ask a funny question… don’t just say hey and expect her to carry the conversation.

Have some personality in your texts, in life a hey will more often than not get ignored, not because they are not interested but because girls ignore those messages that add no value to them and which there is no other way to reply to them other than saying hey back.

Let’s say she says hey back you are back again to having to say something creative so just skip the first hey and get to the creative stuff immediately
