I grew up in the suburbs of my city, and decided to move into the city for better dating logistics (slightly further commute to work). I told myself I'd break out of my comfort zone, as a virgin. I turn 26 in August, and do not wish to be one by then.

Now as I said, I intentionally moved to an area of town with a decent amount of bars, cafes, restaurants and parks. I only moved here a couple weeks ago, but I already feel lonely. It's past midnight as I type this; I hear music outside and girls frolicking on the sidewalk. Now my fashion game is improving, but I dress like a high school kid when I leave the apartment.

White Nike running sneakers, indigo Levi's, a solid color T-shirt and maybe a bomber jacket. It's OK, but not something you'd want to be walking around on a Friday night with.

Now to the topic. I can go out solo, but I already have anxiety so I feel like just "going out to the bar" (when I've never sat at one before) would be too much to do by myself. Maybe it's just part of breaking out of my comfort zone.

What would I do? Order food and watch a game above? Browse shit on my phone? The whole idea of going to a bar is to meet other people, right?

And then you have bouncers. On the weekends, you have to pay to get in, and then pay again? Why not just go in and pay when you get your food/drinks?

Then after this, I have to figure out how to approach girls. But that seems like a separate challenge.
