If it doesn’t evolve beyond that it’s because you are more focused on getting the number than in building an emotional connection with her.

I think you need to forget about getting numbers or contact information completely, and focus on getting instant dates instead to build the emotional connection and build sexual tension with the girl.

If you just go around like:

“Hey i think you are cute what’s your name? “ok karla, i’m james, what do you do for a living? Oh nurse, cool, i’m a a lawyer, anyways, cool to meet you, can you give me your number?”

Obviously that’s not gonna lead anywhere if you have conversations like this that are so generic and also so short.

Pretty much all situations are cold approaches if you do not know the person. You need to look for indicators of interest, choosing signals, body language etc. Plenty of books on emotional intelligence and reading a person body language.

It’s not all about what you say, it’s how you say things and how you represent yourself. Are you fidgeting, acting goofy or are you strong,confident, direct and firm in your actions as a man

Yeah. Even before reading about game the "drink 8 beers and start talking to girls" method worked for me. It works because drinking that much puts you in a state of pretty much no anxiety. A state I want to be able to get into sober. When you step up to a 3 set confidently that alone puts you way above most guys. And the odds that one of them likes you is fairly good if you're ok looking. Even if you talk to them about how the music is too loud and your feet hurt.
