Some people just take forever to text back. Also, her interest level might not be high. If you get a third date, you should dial up the affections. Maybe kiss her early on and lots of hand-holding and touching. If she she isn’t responsive, then yeah, she’s not interested.

It sounds to me like she just isn’t the messaging sort. If she wasn’t interested she would of definitely either full on ghosted you or made an excuse to not go on the second date. Don’t analyse if she’s interested based on the length of her replies, base it on how you interact and if the conversation is flowing well in person. Go on a third date, and see how it goes. I’d make sure to go on other dates with other girls to keep your options open in case it doesn’t work out with this girl for whatever reason. But yeah, if she agreed to go on a second date and text you first after the second date she’s at the very least interested somewhat.

Don't get caught up on response times. She's busy doing her shit. You should be busy doing yours. When you see her, flirt, etc. If she lets you touch her hair. You can generally go in for more. If not, she pulls back, it's a no-fly zone. Move along.

"We didn't kiss on second date" - that sounds like you didn't try. In general, there's never a down side for attempting a kiss when the vibe is remotely right and she's giving you some interest indicators such a preening (playing with her hair), touching you, etc.

Even if you get the turn away, the only thing that happens is that you're remembered as the guy that was bold enough to try. Even the turn away doesn't mean, "Never" it usually just means, "Not this second." As long as you respect this and don't attempt again too soon, you will be forgiven.

Also, you shouldn't be doing much texting between dates. Text isn't a 'get to know you' or even phone calls. Either should be to get a girl on a date. Leave some mystery between and let her wonder about you.
