Yes it can help, just like if you think “i can’t get any girl, that is detrimental to your success”.

Your thoughts or believes you have about yourself influence your behaviour a lot, making you act more confident or more insecure which has q direct effect on how people perceive you and respond to you.

So yes, it’s better to have a positive internal dialogue than a negative one when you want to pick up girls.

It's a mindset that invites disappointment, because it's proven wrong after only one rejection. Replace it with talking to any girl is worth a try.

Sure, just as long as you realize that after the initial encounter, if they are uninterested, you won't change their minds and should move one.

In general, the mindset should be you are capable of attracting someone you are interested in.
