I’m (M,21) consistently told I’m a very good-looking lad by both guys and girls and that I can have ‘whoever I want’ (I wouldn’t go that far but I do think I should be doing better with the opposite sex than I currently am).

However, as time goes on I’m getting less attention from women in clubs (in terms of looks/glances, women moving towards me and straight out approaching me) which I think comes with me not seeming confident in myself or seeming too available (I’ve been abstaining from sex recently and I’m quite horny lol).

I’m assuming I need to act confident to attract women as I see men around me doing better in this department than me and I can’t out work what else it may be. I personally think I have low self esteem and confidence and doubt myself a lot. Any advice? How should act in general? How should act when around women? With my friends I’m already with? At the bar? Even when queueing to get in?

Also I realise this may seem self-entitled of me, which I apologise for. I think I’m attributing attention from the opposite sex as personal/sexual validation alongside being better in the dating department. However, this post is my first step in being a better redditor in social environments and making things happen rather than waiting :).

Thanks in advance!
