just start thinking of girls like that as a dime a dozen, cause they are. physically attractive girls are everywhere, yet you are putting them on a pedestal without wondering if they’re worthy of your best qualities and the things YOU have to offer.
ask yourself the question when you see a girl like that: “yeah she’s beautiful, but what’s her personality like?” approach with curiosity, but don’t come in already sold on the girl.
you’re overthinking man, in situations like that just enjoy the convo for what it is, get her contact info and see where it goes. worst case scenario, you make a hot friend. but you gotta remove the idea of any particular outcome from the interaction and just go with the flow

As soon as you see an attractive girl your hormones take over because of scarcity and the girls sense it from a mile away. 1) Be outcome independent: she's a PERSON, not just an orifice carrier that you can't wait to fill up. Your anxiety comes from the fear of sexual rejection. Simply put sex out of the equation, unless she gives you green light signals. 2) If there's chemistry between you two, great, if not tough, it doesn't matter. The case you described is clearly "red light" (legs away from you, on the phone ...). Learn body language and be perceptive.

Hmm… you’ll never know of you did or not. Just learn from this.
If I were in the situation, I’d ask if she wanted to do something before she got home (coffee, drinks, a walk). If she said yes, great sign. If she was DTF, she may have just skipped to inviting you up.
One REALLY ballsy move that works sometimes is that I’d just up and ask for a kiss. Best case she says yes. Worst case she’d say, “NOOOOooo, what are you nuts?” To which id just play cool and say something like, “I won’t tell if you won’t“. Something like that.

Did you follow up with the girl from the drive?
Whether it led to anything or not, why don't you hit her up as a friend and ask her how the drive went?
You could say:
Hey, I had a good time driving out with you.
Do you mind if I ask you some questions about it?
Not a date or anything, but I'd gladly buy you a cup of coffee or whatever you'd like, to pick your brain about how I can improve my conversation and confidence around women.
If that's uncomfortable, can we just sit and talk somewhere?
