If you are having boring conversations with people, it's because those people aren't like you. They don't have the same worldview, the same interests, or the same methods of self-expression.

If you are having a boring conversation, find a new person to have a conversation with. If you've had 50 boring conversations in a row, take inventory of the people you're approaching and ask yourself why you're approaching them.

Something I started doing (and I watched videos of Craig Ferguson on YouTube for inspiration) is jumping from topic to topic as soon as one gave out. I was opening and then latching on to my opener for dear life. To the girl the convo will feel more emotionally charged with more variety

I believe that if you are not among some interesting circumstances, it is not natural to make a 5+ min conversation with a stranger about some random topics. Maybe get more quicker to the point and approach girls in some more specific environments?

It’s not what you say it’s how you say it. You can literally talk about anything you just have to make it interesting. The key is to get her to talk, honestly when I’m hanging with girls it’s usually them talking 80% and me 20% I just steer the conversation.
