Life is heading in the right direction but at 26 I have no car and don’t have my own place still. Should I still try?

Those girls who you think will call you loser are the same girls who will sleep with a working class loser from a bad neighbourhood no problem.

The problem here is that you don’t respect yourself that’s why she won’t respect you, not because of your situation b it because your own judgment you have in yourself.

As soon as you say anything she will test you to see how you react and if you act embarrassed of yourself that’s the real problem, that’s what she will notice.

I guarantee you there are real bigger losers out there pulling hot girls like there is no tomorrow. Even the girls know deep down they are losers but they tolerate it because they are fun, and confident enough for them.

The difference is this losers act like they are the shit, and aren’t embarrassed by their situation, they own who they are for better or worst, their frame is solid and are though.

Concentrate on work and getting that car. Everything will fall into place.

I didn't get my own place until I was almost 29. And it was small and far from the city. That was 25 years ago. And I had a master's in IT.

Life is hard. It always has been. Just keep working hard and you will get there.

I think that is how most people feel at your age. We were lucky that we didn't have the internet constantly plugged into our heads telling us the things that we didn't have.

In many ways it was a lot tougher back then. Bosses could be complete assholes and there was nothing anyone could do about it. No work from home. Two weeks of vacation. Mandatory working unpaid weekends.

You just worked constantly and always kept your eyes out for something better.

The one thing most of us had was really large friend groups. That is what got us through it. I don't feel like that's a thing any more. That really troubles me. I hope that I am wrong.

But you can never give up trying. No matter what. In doing so you will guarantee yourself a miserable life as all of your future opportunities will go to others. And there may not be a lot of them.

When I would get down on things I would always turn to books and music to turn that around.

Keep your head in the game and take care of yourself physically and mentally.

As long as your working towards something it doesn’t matter where your at. Most women are attracted to people who have goals and it sounds like you have the discipline to complete them. Your young and building your life and doing so with motivation. I don’t think it’s a big deal and I’m sure she will still respect you.

You have more than enough to make a move. Go for it!! The reason why girls fall for rich guys, singers or these cringe rappers is not because of their money, swag or style etc. They fall for them because these type of dudes constantly work to achieve a particular goal. That's it. You stick to your passion and also date girls. Talk about your goals with them. That is it. It is the secret. Use your mom's car. You can tell her its yours she's not gonna demand the ownership papers. Also even if you are down to lay for dates, you shouldn't be paying for all the dates. Sometimes split the bill and don't go too expensive.

Own your insecurities thats it. broke guys get hot girls. You dont need all that material stuff to get women you just need to be able to deal with rejection, carry a conversation and approach. The only thing all girls really find unattractive is low self esteem. You thinking you need all of that is a sign of it. I just read the comment where you described your luxe. I think a lot of women like tall men! Some people think that women are ruthless about height, I don’t necessarily find that to be true, but being tall isn’t a turn off for anybody for sure. It kind of sounds like you really assume no other woman could possibly be in a similar situation to you. Everybody’s got something going on. Do you and don’t stop believing in yourself. I know a bunch of average or straight up fugly fools with mad hot gfs. Those ladies love who their partner is. You sound like you DO have things to bring to the table, you landed an IT gig and got yourself out of a situation!! If life’s going in the right direction, its only gonna get better.

You need to own every single thing in your life. Drive your mom’s car or Uber ? Yeah so what ?
It ain’t forever. You’ll be driving a Tesla or another car in 5 years.

Of course, focus on the things you can change in your situation. Of the things you can’t change, don’t get bogged down by it, they are temporary.
