After breaking up with my now ex girlfriend - it just was not meant to be - and taking some time for myself, I found it time to start cold approaching and meeting some girls again. Today I met up with a friend of mine to chill out, talk and do some cold approaching (unfortunately he does not do it but it’s a nice mental thing to know there’s someone around to fall back on and laugh things off). Completely ready to talk to some cute girls we went off and I was expecting some nice approaches.
Boy was I wrong..
We walked around for 4 hours (ofc not all wasted as we chilled too). I’ve seen about 15 gorgeous girls today and every time my head went completely empty. My cold approach ‘muscle’ was completely gone. Of course it did not help that I was tired due to not sleeping very well last night either, but still. Right now I am bashing myself so hard for not approaching while at the same time giving the tiredness a big blame. I think both covid lockdowns and having a relationship drained my social skills. The mental wall of approach anxiety is back - and fortified.

Tomorrow I could go ahead and go out during the day to try to cold approach a few girls again. Do you guys think this would be a good idea? I could also set a weekly goal for a number of approaches I’d need go do and document the approaches if it would help anyone/people wanna read it. The road to down approach anxiety.

Thanks for reading this. Think I just had to get it off my chest.
