Today I called this girl and told her I "couldn't do this anymore". She's two years older than me, has a kid and she's super clingy. It was fun at first, but as soon as I deleted my online dating apps she started talking about all this stuff like marriage and meeting her parents and shit, which scared me off. I just want to be single without any attachments, plus I have this 20 year old who's hot as hell hitting me up and she's DTF. Anyway, I did something retarded while breaking it off with this girl...

I broke up with her over the phone (it's only been 2 months), but she had stuff at my place so I let her come over to get it. Once she got here she went through all the emotions people go through during a breakup... anger, accusations, then desperate attempts to get me to change my mind, all culminating in her saying she loved me. I didn't say it back, but instead I said, "I don't want to say anything more". Apparently in her psycho mind she took that to mean that I did in-fact love her too but I was scared to say it. So she grilled me and kept saying "just say it". I didn't budge.

Then she pulled an ultimate psycho card and refused to leave until I said it. Now let me just say that she was clingy, but in no way did I expect this level of weirdo-ness from her. After about 20 minutes of her hugging me and kissing me, begging me to say it or "she wouldn't leave", I finally just said fuck it. She said, "I love you. Do you love me?" and I just said "Yeah. But you should go." and I walked her to the door.

Now she's texting me constantly and saying she'll be waiting for me to figure out life and she still wants to talk to me and all this bullshit. I was trying to let her down easy but she doesn't get it... what should I do? I don't want to ghost her... I feel like that's pretty fucked up to do to someone you've had sex with dozens of times and shared intimate things with. But she's giving off psycho vibes, even telling me her kid isn't that important and she wants to be with me. Anybody got any tips? This girl is 28 and I feel like she's just delusional. It's creeping me out.

Edit ** Talked with her the next day and she seems a lot calmer. She said she realized that it was for the best and she's glad I told her sooner rather than later. She told me she has a date with another guy in a week which I told her is great, but she still wants to hang out with me and keep having sex. I told her I'm down as long as we're both on the same page and she doesn't freak out if I'm with other girls. She seems cool about it.
