Saw a cute girl at an art gallery. She smiled at me and started walking around the space. I approached her when I finished viewing the exhibition. Told her she must’ve liked the show since she was there for a while now. Had a good conversation and exchanged socials. We’ve now been dating for 3 months solid. It really depends on the girl and the vibe you give off at that particular time. No formula really.

I could give you some examples of times i've cold approached a stranger and it lead too us having sex that night, but i'm not sure what the point would be. I really don't think the opener or much else in the interaction matters that much. I really believe that if she is attracted to you, the opener, whatever it is, will be well received. As will your general conversation and your escalation attempts etc

And likewise, if she's not attracted to you, then the opener will likely be met with silence or just abrupt replies. Conversation will be a one-way-street. And escalation will certainly be rejected

Having said that, just so that I answer your question and think back to my last 3 cold approach lays, one opener was 'Hey, can I borrow your lighter?', one was a cheesy 'sorry i'm late' opener (as if she was waiting for me for a date) and one was 'I like your jacket'

Got engaged verbally in some sort of environmental or situational topic, then bowing out to leave, gave them an option to continue in the future or bow out gracefully.
