Honestly, as a guy in college, don’t even worry about it in the absolute slightest. When your parents say “High school relationships can bring more bad than good” they’re right… and I’m only 20.

But since you asked, here’s a little advice. Be friends with girls and be slightly flirty. Don’t show intentions, but make sure the girl knows you have a dick. Make the convo man to woman. School is one giant social circle and the traditional strategies for pickup or seduction don’t work because they rely on numbers. If you hit on a girl out and about or at a bar, you’ll probably never see her again, whereas high school girls will tell all their friends, weird stigmas pop up, etc.

Just have fun, take care of yourself and join clubs with girls in them. Learn how to feel and see when a girl is interested and invite them to hangout or something.

But more importantly, understand that dating and hooking up gets easier as a guy the older you get. You’re going to suck ass rn. Girls are naturally into guys 4-5 years older than them. The logistics are a nightmare because of parents and a lack of privacy. You’re forced into relationships before you can actually get the vibe of a person 1on1 or hookup because the girl is worried about what other people will think of her. And you’re prob a virgin so you suck in the sack.

Look into social circle game. Coach Kyle on YouTube has some good videos on how to treat those situations.

Focus on becoming more attractive through the gym, tongue posture, learning some style, and other means to set yourself up for when you get tf out of high school. Learn the basic social skills and how to make small talk. You have a shit ton of potential but really, being good with girls start with EVERYTHING ELSE. So focus on that first so you can slay when it matters. Girls in high school have shitty priorities and aren’t mature enough to handle the shit, and you probably aren’t either. Neither was I at your age. I know it’s hard to prioritize that long term goal, but it’s worth it 100%.

And DONT change your life plans for a girl if you end up with a girl in HS. IDC what emotions you carry. If you plan on going to college across the country and you have a girlfriend who wants to stay in the area, break it off. Seriously.

I think you need to start lifting weights and get some testosterone surging throughout your body, then the urges to talk to girls will easily come. Plus, you’ll be more confident and dominant with women.

if you don’t feel any natural compulsion to do it—don’t. forcing a relationship out of thin air will be weird for the both of you. you’ll have plenty of opportunity for relationships going forward. Dating in high school, as you will find out, is probably the strangest and most chaotic period of dating in the grand scheme of things. it’s a lower stakes safety net in the event that you do feel compelled to date someone, but by all means, don’t feel pressured to do it if the intrinsic will isn’t there

Why do you feel you have nothing to talk about?, Because you dont know what the purpose of talking with a girl is.

It is to get her in the right emotional mood, it’s about teasing, joking, roasting, provoking, making fun in lighthearted way, flirting, telling emotional but positive stories that happened to you, and basically get her to feel an emotional rollercoaster. It’s not just talking to exchange random information, it’s about connecting, show empathy, and having fun.

It’s like a game, the purpose is how fun can i make this interaction for my own pleasure with my social skills?

The end result of having a fun conversation is that you get to date the girl probably. It’s about generating intense emotions, that’s why you talk.

If you feel you have nothing to talk to it’s because rather than seeing it like i described above you are probably thinking “what can i tell her so she will be impressed by me and give me a chance to have something with her”

When it should be “how can i have a laugh by messing with this girl, so that i feel good and entertain myself”

Maybe you dont have an interest in talking to them because you are unconsciously rejecting them before they can reject you. Youll keep that same mentality in college if you dont work on it. I suggest you talk to everyone. Boys, girls, ugly or beautiful. Its highschool. Have fun while you can and get some experience in life. Its not that serious. When you enter the job market nobodys going to ask anything about highschool.
