Set the date, get off the phone. If you can’t see each other and have been hooking up for a while, a phone call every once in a while is okay but the relationship doesn’t move forward unless you see each other in person

I know this isn’t the answer you’re looking for but…text her as much or as little as you want (within reason of course, don’t blow up her phone). If the energy is good/you’re excited don’t worry about texting too much or answering too quickly. Do what feels natural to you. The right person will like the way you communicate with them and won’t see frequent or quick texts as a turn off. Playing the wait three days/don’t text for a week game is stupid and childish if that’s not how you would naturally text someone. Obviously gauge her interest like stated by others. Good luck! :)

Texting can dry up in-person communication. However, most women want someone to talk to throughout the day. I’d suggest finding a non needy girl.

What you can do… and what I do to keep her interested. I’ll play games (drop clues) with her throughout the week on where you’re bringing her. She has to guess where you’re going. This avoids small talk but still keeps her entertained/ engaged.

Not that often. I would just reserve text for actually setting a time to meet up, and maybe flirt some as you do that but I wouldn't just text for no reason.

I actually polled women about this (female co-workers, some family neighbors, etc.) and it is mixed. Some like it and like it often Some don't like it as often, some is a mixture.

Honestly, for me, I will text twice in a week and then one call withing a couple days after. If I don't get any response, I just keep it moving. If they ci tact me later, great, but I am not waiting for them.

Don’t try to calculate a woman’s interest by how much she initiates. Some have build up a fence around them (due to past experiences and pain) so they just won’t initiate until you’re much closer (they trust you) or when you’re actually exclusive.

I’m currently seeing a girl that almost never initiates but she gives small subtle hints I pick up that she does like me a lot. I’ve also been in a situation where I literally never texted a girl besides to ask her out. She’d never initiate conversation through text but we’d always have a blast while we were on dates.

imo you can text daily but don’t force a convo to drag on when its dead, its perfectly fine to not talk for 2-3 days. Just go with the flow and do whats natural.

Regarding calls i’d say do it once a week. Really makes calling fun since you have a lot to talk about. Always pick a different day to call her though since you want it to be spontaneous.
