I've tried to get my mind off of dating and virginity, but every day I realize that tomorrow is never guaranteed. Yet over on /r/dating, they are talking about how much sex they had in the beginning of their relationships and as they get older they have no energy. Here I am with a high sex drive and nobody to share it with, at 25.

As I opened this thread, again I only see a handful of attractive women in my position. The assistant to my speech language pathologist is also a grad student and is very attractive. This might sound insane, but I think she could be into me. But I am trying to tell myself that this isn't the case, because they are ironically there to help me and not to be a distraction. Still, I'm about to end the year with a failed 2 hour coffee date and walk with a girl from Tinder (the only one out of 90 matches and 5,000+ swipes on Platinum). I can't afford to give up on even the most obscure of opporuntities.

I want to be more bold in the grocery store. If I can get a better haircut and slightly better clothes, I bet that I can draw more attention. I just want to be able to have those organic conversations, girls asking me about brussel sprouts, that I can use as a way to make a seamless cold approach.

Hobby clubs and sports are an option, but I need to pick the right ones. People tend to suggest Meetup, but only a very small handful have people around my age, and they're really centered on bar trivia meets and professional development (which I might do).

Bars and clubs, like dating apps, are two places I don't really want to be in if I can avoid them because of the competitive nature of them. I really don't want to dress up to the hilt just to look better than the next guy. I also don't like the idea of girls seeing me with alcohol and not sober. Clubs are just too loud and the demographic (here) doesn't match my personality.

So in conclusion, I really don't have many options. All that's left are grocery store workers and my assistant SLP. Apps are trash and made me lose $60. I'm not ugly, but I'm not a supermodel either. With work I could probably be very attractive, but I don't think an app will reflect this. I'd be able to get much better quality in person.
