So usually I like to go out to bars with 3 of my friends. We’ve known each other for a while and girls aside we get along really well and do a lot of things together. But for the love of god, group interactions with them present are just unbearable. So let me set a few scenes.

1) it feels like everyone in the group just hits on one girl sometimes. So usually I approach a group of girls, introduce myself and start a conversation. There would usually be a girl I’m attracted to in that group so I would steer towards her and gradually invite my friends to join in instead of just sitting at the bar watching. But when they come over it’s like they have no clue how to read the room and would all just start hitting on the same girl as me to the point where it looks like she feels too much pressure.

2) a second scenario that tends to happen alot is when I’m getting with a girl at the corner of the club/bar they all seem to want to take me away or just linger around and make it awkward. I know I am the most socially capable in the group but damn I don’t need to be there for every group approach

3) getting shit tested by your own friends doesn’t really help. An example is I recently broke my wrist and have to wear a glove to protect it. When a girl asks how it happened someone would jump in and say something stupid like “he was wanking too much”. What the hell.

So my question to my fellow redditors is what the hell should I do. Should I bring it up or just let it slide? Should I introduce them to this subreddit? Because quite frankly we’re mid 20s but their social awareness is that of an 18 year old.
