My life feels like it's moving fast post-college and bc of COVID. I am still in the college nightgame mindset and am not sure what is expected now. I also now live in the suburbs with my parents which isn't great.
Right now I'm stressing over this tinder girl who is also 25. I met up with her at a concert in July, have been snapchatting her on & off, but have not seen her since. We have a similar interest in music (which I love) but I found it hard to communicate with her in that concert setting.
I was trying to get her out to some other concerts back in August, but she gave me some excuses and told me she wasn't going to any "until music festival season was over."
I was attempting to follow the texting tips in this Todd V video, particularly that you shouldn't be making plans until a high point in conversation. https://youtu.be/7OZebLs6v7o
Problem with that is eventually she will leave me on read when I make some random statement while trying to be funny. And from there I feel like I have to wait a while and go back to square 1.
That doesn't sound great for me and I shouldn't have oneitis, but this girl semi-recently moved to this city, seems like she is introverted without many friends, but is also very attractive and smart.
From here idk where to go, and may need to work on a different date idea. I haven't tried to get her somewhere in a while. I just feel like the concert thing is an easy shared interest, and there are good concerts here every weekend. I haven't spoken to her in 3 weeks now but she watches all my snap stories.
One weird detail I should share is I discovered through her social media that last winter she was "attacked" at night while walking in the city alone. So she may be like traumatized to go out here at night without people she trusts. I have not brought that up with her.
Idk what to do next, but I have to do something since I have nothing to lose. Any advice on any of this is greatly appreciated!
