I’m sorry if it’s the wrong sub but I need to get this off my chest - last night I fucked up real bad.

So I’m not much of a club goer these days but all my friends were up for it after work on a Friday night. I didn’t want to be a bore so I thought why not join them.

Unfortunately this is the type of club is where you have to buy a table to have a good time otherwise you’re just standing around looking like a bit of a loser.

So me and my friends are “standing around” And I notice this absolute stunner at one of the tables. My friends and I start talking about her and who will have the balls to go up and say hi.

Over an hour anticipation passes until I finally plucked up the courage and went over to introduce myself. To my surprise she was extremely receptive and conversation is easy despite the loud music and even her friends even like me ! They even invite me to their table and I start having drinks with them.

We then decide to check out another club together and this is where I made a fatal error …

We exchanged Instagram and that’s when I realised who she was. I must back-track here because A few months ago I slided into the DMs with a really cringey message of a really hot girl on Instagram.

Yep. The stunner I met at the club is the same girl.

Once she realises this her comfort levels with me drop instantly. We are still talking but we are constantly going back to the topic of the embarrassing message I sent to her on his Instagram before we even met.

At one point I asked if I could kiss her to which she replied “no you’re not getting it that easy after that message you sent. you’ve got a lot of work to do”.

After about an hour at the club with her she’s off talking to her friends and I called it a night.

I honestly don’t know how I’m going to live this down and this will haunt me forever. I guess the good thing that came out of it is that we actually follow each other on Instagram now so we are now somewhat in touch. Also I got free drinks all night which was nice.

Moral of the story is don’t slide into some random girls DMs it may come back and bite you on the ass big time.
