Yeup. Wouldn't have found the courage without this sub still I bet. This story is going to be painful to read, heads up. I'm not saying I did well. I'm just saying I had my first "cold approach" (kind of) and also learned a hell of a lot about the game from this ten second experience.

Gas station. I'm on my break from work. It's like 38 degrees Celsius today where I am. I'm finished paying, in my car, ready to leave. Pump next to mine a pretty girl pulls up. Something about her really turned my head. I turned it again and looked back out my window to see her. I said "hot, isn't it". She looked at me, and just smiled a bit, and said "hey." I repeated myself saying "it's hot today eh" and she said "yes... It's very warm", in a manner that could have been taken different ways. She said it very slowly. She may have been nervous. She didn't seem angry or non receptive. She just seemed... In a bit of a daze.

I was sweaty, dirty, and overall dying of heat stroke, and started my car, pulled away and said have a nice day, to which she said you too. I think she was disappointed I didn't ask for her number or suggest we meet up later. Bear in mind I'm still coming to the realization that this is a thing that people do, the cold approaches in public with a stranger you're attracted to. So this was a baby step for me, that turned into a giant leap of a lesson.

I didn't realize that she literally didn't even want to make small talk. I think after she said "hey" and smiled she was literally ready for me to just ask what she was doing later, get her number, then text her later. I'm slowly, slowly realizing this is how it can work if you're into each other at first glance. So I feel pretty lame and stupid for leaving but I figured I'd try and be civil and just leave it as an interaction with a fellow human being on a hot day, not me chickening out. Although that's probably what she's thinking now. I guess I just am realizing I can literally ruin a girls day by not making my move. I feel shitty now because I'll literally never see her again and get a chance to make it up to her. But I guess that's life. I have to learn and move on and try again. Thanks for reading, and for providing insight to me on this sub. I've had a lot of fun in life after learning what I have here. That engagement today with her fell out of me like I couldn't control it. There was just no way of fighting my natural impulse to talk to her. So this sub has helped me unleash the True natural man I am. Brought me out of years of thinking I'm special or not enough time to meet girls or whatever other excuse I was making for being afraid. Gotta work my way up to it is the biggest lesson. Can't just jump in over my head and end up back at square one. Man... Just really feel like an idiot and horribly sad for that girl at the gas station today. But who knows. Maybe she was married. Until my next encounter gang, thanks for reading.
