Red flags for me are:

-addicted to social media (validation hunter) -a heartbreaker -I’m cool if a girl is a little jealous but not if it’s the “I do what I want but will examine everything you do” type (do as I say not as I do) -no hobbies. I have like a million so I don’t want some chick who just sits around acting pretty -daddy issues=just fwb. Fear of abandonment always becomes some weird argument when I don’t text em all day, and they never understand I build engines all day so I don’t have the ability or focus to text all day -poor money management. Doesn’t have to own a Fortune 500 company but poor money management isn’t what I want in a potential wife, and I’ve seen this turn into “my man needs to spoil me” (not against spoiling a girl that’s hella good to me, but they shouldn’t feel entitled to it) -drugs or heavy drinking. I’m straight edge and can care less what a partner does but I’d prefer someone who respects my sobriety

The rest is nuanced. I’m okay with some mental health issues (we almost all suffer from them in today’s day and age) but it’s gotta be in control. BPD? Sorry I’m outta here. Bipolar? Almost as bad as BPD.

See, this is something I struggle with. I haven’t had enough dating experience to know what I want and don’t want apart from a handful of baseline things. How do I date based on what I know I want if I don’t know what I want without dating?
