So I met this girl in my chemistry class and we seemed to have a bit in common. I got her snap a week ago and today I asked her to get lunch with me. She agreed and we both met at our college cafeteria. I then ask after we eat if she wants to take some dabs with me at my dorm. She agrees and we go back to my room. We end up smoking a bit there and then we took a nature walk in this forest preserve.

Here is where I fucked up, I should have put my arm around her to build some comfort. Instead, I didn’t but we still had a decent conversation but I felt like things were starting to die between us. She wasn’t giving me strong eye contact on that hike and there were definitely some long silences. She was before giving me heavy eye contact. Anyway, we go back to my dorm and smoke some more. After talking on my bed for 10 minutes, I go in for the kiss. She kisses back but then after 3 seconds she says “I’m not feeling this.” I was like oh well I had to at least try. She admitted that it was a bad kiss and I told her it was due to my inexperience. She actually said she appreciated me telling her that. She also said she didn’t know how she felt and she doesn’t know me that well to decipher that kiss. Right after the kiss, things got super awkward and she left quickly.

Any particular way I should go about with this girl? She’s not the only girl I’m talking to at the moment, so I’ll just explore other options. should I just be my friendly self but show no romantic interest anymore? I think my best bet is to go about like nothing happened when speaking to her in class. I’m most likely just not going to pursue this girl romantically unless some clear interest is shown on her side. Idk, any thoughts on here?
