Honestly it doesn’t matter what the FWB thinks, it boils down to what YOU & her friend want.

The risk you run is the FWB bad mouthing you to the rest of the social circle you share with her, saying you’re manipulative/scummy. It’s your call really, if you’re willing to chance burning a bridge with her then so be it. Hell maybe the FWB doesn’t care at all (a lot more likely she gets jealous & wants to start fucking you again if it’s the hot friend you’re fucking).

Tl;DR go for it if you don’t mind losing the FWB as a friend (and possibly people in the same social circle as her)

I say there's one best way to go about this. Do you intend on being just friends with you ex FWB now that she has ended it? Some people may say your friendzoned for that, but I have a different opinion of the friendzone. For me, the friendzone is the place where my hot platonic friend introduces me to her hot friends. It's an integral part to social circle game. Now that implies that it's okay to have sex with her friend, but with the sexual relationship between you two ending so recently, if you do sincerely want to stay just friends with her, it would be in good taste to ask. However, I say don't ask right away. I say go for it first with her friend. Get that girl's number, flirt, make out, date, fuck, whatever. Then ask lol. You know the whole forgiveness vs permission thing? This is one of those cases. If she's not cool with it, you can decide at that point whether to make amends and end the new fling or to pursue the new thing and end your friendship. I think that would be the most sincere way to go about it while still putting yourself and your well-being and interests first. If you don't actually want to be just friends, then who cares right? Wrong lol. Don't just assume if you sever ties with your ex FWB that the new girl will choose to risk her friendship to fuck you. Her previous flirting guarantees nothing; ending this FWB relationship with grace, dignity, and kindness could be a very attractive trait to other girls in the social circle. They may want a chance with newly single cute guy who doesn't turn into a dick if things don't work out. So I say go with my plan no matter what. Maintain friendship, pursue new girl, then be honest and choose. That's how you play social circle game.

I should’ve clarified, assuming you’re still screwing the friend. It’s a bad idea to make both girls FWBs. It could be fucking the FWB once, it could be a handful of times after, once she gets the jealousy fuck out of her system (and you’re still with the friend) she may get irrational & dislike you because you’re not exclusively FWB with her.
