I don’t like this question. It’s sort of implies that women’s only function for men is sex. That’s a completely unhealthy way to view woman.

I am facing this dilemma in a real world way at this exact moment.

First off, I do have women friends...but I tend to gravitate towards my men friends for spending time that is not going to have the possibility of sex (and I probably don't have a female friend I haven't asked or suggested sex with --- always politely and respectfully, but I think it's fair to set good boundaries as soon as possible).

Now, so I've been seeing this friend of a friend because the friend is my room mate and the woman starting coming around. She made it really clear that sex/relationship was off the table.

I didn't believe her totally, and, for example, this weekend we had dinner both Friday and Saturday and she spent the night at my place (in the guest room) both nights. I really like her, I want more, she doesn't.

So the question is....what to do?

Last night we were texting at like 2 in the morning and it totally fucked up my sleep, she said she was only friends with me in the first place due to our common friend and I said, okay, if you're not getting anything out of our time together, then stop. She said she was enjoying our time (we practice English and Spanish --- and we play chess and backgammon, for example).

So what's confusing is Saturday we also went out for drinks (then took some drugs) and then went to a club. She came back to my place at 4am (and being we'd been dancing for hours and had taken molly --- I just figured there was something there).

She maintains no.

So, the real question is....do I keep her in my life as a friend and wing-woman?
Is it wasting valuable time I could be using for playing the game with women that would want to fuck and/or maybe have a relationship of some kind?

During the hours at the club, she winged for me constantly, but I think most women assumed we were actually there as a couple or dating because the dancing was pretty intimate (as we liked and trust each other).

Anyway, this has caused me a bit of confusion and frustration.

She texted me around 3 am and I didn't get it until this morning, she basically said, if this doesn't work for you I'm out of here.

I texted her back that I do want to remain friends and I very much enjoy our time together.

I also know it's a bit frustrating and hard to be friends with a woman you're very attracted to who trusts you enough to come back to your apartment at 4am (after drinking and doing drugs) who is also very adamant that nothing is ever going to happen.

Hell.

I appreciate women for more than sex. However sex is the only imperative thing I need women for. If sex wasn’t a thing I wouldn’t need women, that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t interact with them though.
