Hey guys, this is my first post here. I've been lurking here and reading other PUA materials for a while but, as most do, have avoided doing anything with the knowledge! I just recently got over myself not getting over my long-term ex... so it's been a very long time since I've dated. I apologize in advance for the head-slapping you'll be receiving.

I'd appreciate some advice - I tried to keep it brief by just keeping the key details. The title is basically a tl;dr

I met up with a few friends and friends of friends a few night ago at a bar - we all grabbed a table on an outside patio. One of the girls and I were hitting it off, she asked me to come sit with her (another guy was between us), stories told to the group ended up being told just to me, and we made plans to go back to my place to borrow a book that came up. Signing a check she pulled a pen out of her purse instead of using the one provided - I commented how weird that is. A few minutes later she gave me the pen and paper and told me to try the pen. Stupidly, I didn't write my number, and she called me out on it loud enough for everyone to hear.

Everyone decides to come back to our place. We all hang out, her and I sneak off to my room and talked for a while - still, I did nothing physical but we're (verbally) flirting up a storm. Night ends, everyone is still around so we share a long hug and she gives me a long private smile as she leaves. She was just passing through and will be out of state the next day.

I got her email address (from her company name), and emailed her the next day saying we should meet up, possibly in her city. Why I started with this I have no idea. She says she's in and a few more emails pass between us where I don't mention visiting. She brings it up again and proposes time when she's free. Said I would get back to her after I found flights. So, it looks like I'm going there. All these emails happened with us waiting about half a day between them - one or two was within an hour.

I'm kind of thinking now this could be a very bad idea if I have no... plan. I think I just got myself into a 5-day long first date and I have yet to talk to her on the phone!

Anyone care to share what they would do?
