I have a question on eye contact. From what I read is when you're talking you should be giving them eye contact on and off to make it natural.

But when the other party is talking you're supposed to maintain strong eye contact the entire time.

Is this correct?

I'm wondering because sometimes I'll end up in a staring match if it's with a guy...and with a girl I feel the tension building up.

This feels like a good thing.

Another question, is it a good sign when the girl looks at you like a deer stuck in headlights? Sometimes when I give females strong eye contact it looks like they get lost in my eyes.

I've even had someone tell me they lost their train of thought because of my eye contact.

This is good signs right? Or should I lower the intensity of it to not make it so intense?
