So I was in a club with a girl, things were getting kinda steamy so I wanted to leave and go back to hers (I knew her, had been over already but not had sex) and I wanted to make this obvious.

I said something crappy like 'so am I gonna walk you back later?' and she sort of rolled her eyes and said 'we both know what that means'. After a while we ended up going back to her place for a fun night, but that was more because we have a thing for each other.

I got a sense from her (from other things too) that she wanted to be told what to do and not asked.

In future, what can I say when I want to get out of there? Should I just be direct and say 'C'mon, lets get out of here' (seems like I probably should have done this) and in future, if I'm in a similar situation or its not so obvious, are there any other things I can say.

TL,DR: 1) A girls is obviously interested, what can I say when I want to leave the club and go back(to her place)? Or should I just be direct e.g., 'Let's get out of here'.

2) I get a sense she wanted to be told what to do and not asked - seems kinda obvious now but how common/important is this?
