I'm in college, and in one of my classes there's a real cute girl I'd like to get to know. However, we already have a seating chart and she's on the other side of the room, while I'm stuck in the middle. I thought about trying to talk to her after class, but I have to wait for everyone around me to leave and she's right by the door and just bolts immediately.

I remember reading somewhere about a guy who would go up to a girl before class and give her a note with just his number and something like "Coffee?" and that it had a decent success rate. This seems this might be the only way to get her attention, but I'm not sure how to do it so that she'd be intrigued, rather than just creeped out. I like it because it's bold and it doesn't put her on the spot in front of the rest of the class. What do you guys think? Is there a better way?
