Saw a recent comment that said instead of using a canned opener that girls hear all the time and see right through, you should just go say Hi or Hey.

Most of the girls (and people in general) I meet, I do this very thing.

The one difference is that I say “Hi” or “Hey” with a certain inflection in my voice and in a way that I would say it if I saw one of my friends.

The girls initial facial reaction in the first second or two is like, “oh shit, do I know this guy?”. Well she doesn’t but, now she’s thinking about me and that’s a damn good way for her not to just brush me off.
