I've recently met this gorgeous redhead at a gig I've been playing at. She's part of the cast (It's a musical) and I'm interested in asking her out. We've exchanged only a handful of sentences, never really a full convo because it's a busy place being backstage and it's damn near impossible to hold a conversation. What little we have talked seems to have gone well though.

Is this a good idea? I figure if I'm just confident and say "Hey, I think you're attractive and talented and I don't do this very often but would you like to catch a drink with me sometime?" it might work right? As long as I keep eye contact and don't stutter/whatever.
