Get some body paint for the full moon party. Keep a bright color on hand and as a cute girl walks by you, paint a streak on her. I had fun doing that all 3 nights I was there.

Went to both Vang Vieng and Koh Phangan a couple years back. You're going to have an awesome time. Let me just get the Mom advice over with: be careful around drugs and people doing drugs. Most of the advice so far is spot on. The general atmosphere is high high energy. You almost want to disregard females, acquire fun vibes. Think of yourself as a a catalyst of fun. Don't take anything seriously. Girls bounce from guy to guy. Don't be surprised if you think you're making headway with a girl only to see her making out with a dude in the sand 10 minutes later. You don't care.

Basically, you'll want to plant as many seeds as possible throughout the night, with the hope that some will work out later. Highfives and spins, share a bucket with some girls, get people posing for group pictures, get a game of mud volleyball started, offer to paint a cool design on a girls back if she paints yours, et-fucking-cetera.

You didn't mention if you're traveling with a friend but, if not, wings are very easy to recruit as you go. Everyone is very open to meeting new people so you don't have to be running airtight game. There are no tips. Horny girls, alcohol, and party music. Don't telegraph interest. Instead, come off as a friendly guy who is just looking to make friends and have fun, while being interesting and keeping light humor.

I'd say since this is an "easy" situation, pick it up a level. Girls who you wouldn't usually hit on HB9 and above (if that's your thing), go for it. A party-style atmosphere would sure to have everyone in a fairly good mood. Walls are down, come on in.
